JACKSON — Dr. David A. Chandler will retire as commissioner of the Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services on Sept. 15, and Gov. Phil Bryant announced on Tuesday that Mississippi Supreme Court Presiding Justice Jess H. Dickinson will succeed Chandler.
