By SPECIAL TO THE SUN-SENTINEL,

Pictured at the second annual meeting of the National Dog Horn Association (NDHA), held Nov. 10 at the Charleston Arts Center, are (from left) Charleston Arts and Revitalization Effort (CARE) Executive Director Carol Roark; NDHA founder Dr. Stuart Denman; dog horn enthusiast and guest speaker Paul Greenwood of Tyler, Texas; CARE President Laverne Leigh; and CARE board member Glenna Callender. They are holding a variety of dog horns, which were on display at the event.  The NDHA was formed by Denman and others with the goal of preserving the heritage and tradition of the dog horn while increasing awareness of how the dog horn was and still is utilized in hunting.  (Photo special to The Sun-Sentinel)
