TUTWILER — Dillard Dee Melton, Sr., age 86, passed away Saturday, March 2, at his home at Tutwiler.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 5.  Interment follwed at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery near Sumner.  Newsom Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.



Paul Whitten

HAMPSTEAD, N.C. — Paul Roger Whitten, 66, passed away Saturday, March 9, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Formerly of Cascilla, he served in the U.S. Army and was an electrician.

Friends of the Tallahatchie Library to support Charleston, Tutwiler Facilities

The event was organized by the Friends of the Tallahatchie Library group to recruit members for the nonprofit organization and its steering board.
