WATER VALLEY — Mrs. Bonnie Faye Boatright Wolfe, 87, died Monday, Feb. 11, at the Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley.
The funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Shook officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery. The visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 14, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in Oxford to the late Malcolm Igyle and Cecil Irene Carroll Boatright, Mrs. Wolfe was a longtime member of Anchor Baptist Church in Oxford. She had retired from being a bank teller at the First National Bank in Oxford. She loved cooking for her family and her favorite thing to make was a chocolate pie.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant sons; two brothers, Ross Nolan Boatright, Sr. and Robert Boatright.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Sidney L. Wolfe of Oxford; daughter, Sidney McCain and her husband, Bobby of Oxford; son, Martin Lynn Wolfe and his wife, Kathy of Brandon; six grandchildren, Robby McCain, Mary McCain, Kendra McIntyre, Caitlin Ratliff, Leah Wolfe and Daniel Wolfe; and 4 great-grandchildren.
