TUTWILER — Johnson Gee, 62, an owner of Silver Saver #49 and worked at Kroger in Cleveland, passed away Thursday, Sept 25, at Northwest MS Medical Center.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at First Baptist Church in Tutwiler with interment following in Lambert Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home, Clarksdale, had charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tutwiler, where he served as a deacon.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Glenda Ware Gee of Tutwiler; a son, Johnson Phillip Gee of Atlanta, Ga.; daughters, Holly Gee Higginbotham (Michael) of Hernando and Hilary Gee Cook (Brad) of Clarksdale; his mother, Lucy Wong Gee; sisters, JoAnn Gee Ledbetter (Chris) of Southaven and Grace Gee of Tutwiler; and grandchildren, Lyndsey Kate Cook, Olivia Chase Higginbotham, Madison Avery Cook and Graycin Dawn Higginbotham.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sammie Gee.
