TIPPO — Alexander Green Murphey III, age 68, farmer, passed away Thursday, Sept. 25, at his home in Tippo.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Tippo Methodist Church Cemetery. Newsom Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his children, Lex Murphey (Mallori) of Tippo, John Steele Murphey (Kaitlyn) of Tippo and Staci Toole (Ray) of Teasdale; his mother, Carolyn Murphey of Tippo; a brother, Morris “Brother” Murphey (Elise); two sisters, Patricia Murphey of Baldwin and Cynthia May of Jacksonville, Fla. and two grandchildren, Weston Toole and Mary Claire Murphey.
He was preceded in death by his father, A.G. “T” Murphey Jr., and his sister, Morri Furr.
