CLEVELAND — Alta Beatrice Seymore, 93, died December 27, 2023, at North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville.
Visitation was Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 10:30-11:30 a.m., at Meredith Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, followed immediately by funeral services at 11:30. Burial was in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith Nowell Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Survivors include a son, Aubrey (Dottie) Seymore of Tutwiler; two daughters, Judy (Wynne) Smith of Oxford and Sherry (Larry) Phillips of Starkville; five grandchildren, Manda (Tommy) James, Lewis (Katherine) Smith, Chadwick (Monica) Smith, Kristen (Craig) Grant and Kevin (Denise) Phillips; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Seymore Sr., and parents George and Heneretta Cantrell.
