CHARLESTON — Beverly Ann Jennings Milam, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 12, at Womble Funeral Home from 12 until 2 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Magnolia Gardens in Paynes with Bro. Shelly Scallions officiating.
Born on September 11, 1952, Beverly was the daughter of the late LP Jennings and Maxine Yarbrough Jennings.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. Beverly adored sunflowers, delighted in watching hummingbirds, and cherished the color yellow.
She also found happiness in painting and cross-stitching; talents she shared with those she loved.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Theresa Hargett (Darrell) of Charleston; her son, J.J. Milam (Tasha) of Charleston; her sister, Brenda DeLapp; her brother, Billy Glen Jennings; six grandchildren, Tyler Gentry, Alex Hargett, Katlyn Estridge, Seal Milam, Grayson Milam and Kayci Sapp; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tonya Longest; and two brothers, Larry Jennings and Donnie Jennings.
Pallbearers will be Seal Milam, Grayson Milam, Alex Hargett, Tyler Gentry, Gabe Estridge and Matt Vokral.
Honorary pallbearers are Harvey Williamson and Thomas Sapp.
