Warm and pleasant greetings to all. Happy spring!
We hope all enjoyed the school spring break with family. Perhaps you got some chores done and enjoyed other fun activities together.
Now that spring is here, it’s time to dress in comfortable, lightweight and light color clothing — just what you have been waiting for.
Clothing and stylist specialists along with shopping editors say the spring trend will be soft power, fashion to influence, charm or seduce and floral patterns to celebrate the season with vibrant prints, including, of course, pastels and a modern take of the 2000s.
Ready or not, the flare jeans/bell-bottoms, 1970 decidedly, will come back in style. You can wear almost any style top you like with your flare jeans, to dress up or down, depending on the color maybe. So if you are a “style up keeper,” you can rejoice.
Now, I would certainly suggest you try on your own style jeans with one of your old pairs cut with one leg, maybe the left leg, short style before you order the new one-leg, short-leg jean. Have you seen this style? Now, that’s a “pass”for me. I like plain regular jeans and have a few pairs with both long legs.
With any garment, my take is to wear what’s comfortable to match your silhouette and colors that flatter you. Most of us have certain garments we like wearing, that feel good and appropriate for the occasion. Again, I am a classic trender. What’s in, what’s out is not so much my foretaste. However, I do like to be in the know and I do add a modern trend sometimes. This is how it is when you reach (and pass) a certain age. I’ll see you soon, in style, looking good!
Less three months from now, the school term will be in recess for the summer, but Sunday school is always in session. It’s always the right time to encourage our young people to attend and participate in Bible- based classes such as Sunday school, Bible study and Sunday church services. Too many parents are not nurturing their children in Christian education and exemplifying themselves as it may seem important.
Young people need to be encouraged and nurtured into a spiritual environment that gives them good direction and a desire to live the best life now.
Living a spiritual life with faith just makes one a better person. A person feels better, looks better and acts better.
How much better would our homes, churches and communities be if we strive to be better?
Enjoy life today. Be blessed.
