Warm and pleasant greetings. We hope you are enjoying a good week and keeping safe considering the exceptionally hot weather. We are halfway through summer with a few more weeks of warm weather still ahead.
It’s a pleasure greeting people when we have a chance to be out and about.
Our son Reginald had the pleasure of greeting friends and several of his teachers that he told us about. It was wonderful having Reginald home giving time to caring, pampering and pleasing his parents.
Several projects were completed and care given to the necessaries waiting for someone’s attention.
We hope school is starting in a good mode. Just saying a prayer may not be enough. Praying is action. Let’s continue to give our love, support and resources to those concerned in education and improvement for our young people.
It would be nice if your car horn could blow more than a beep sound, which means attention or alert.
We love you seeing us, so we beep the horn. Am I saying “I see you, Hello,” or “Move when the light is green,” or did you mean to pull out ahead of me, or a four-leg something is crossing? “Watch out!” I seldom use the car horn simply to avoid interruption. I consider myself a courteous driver and I hope I’m keeping a normal driving mode. I practice not taking too many signals and beeps I hear and see for granted. Please drive carefully.
Records show more men cause more accidents than women and are more likely to be involved in serious accidents. Men tend to drive more miles, take more risks and maybe not wear a seat belt as often.
Don’t be distracted by using cellphones. Remember, teenage drivers are still learning to navigate the roads, too. Older people are still driving and they know where they want to go and still know the way! It’s about being safe.
