Warm and pleasant greetings to all. How wonderful it is to know the earth was created to have seasonal changes at intervals each year.
It is with beauty and an atmosphere designed for God’ s creation. He knows when it’s time for any change. We are taking a peek. Fall is on the way, so enjoy your last week of summertime.

It’s been a pleasant week, dry and dusty, but road maintenance with grading and trimming weeds and grass was done last week. Seemingly, by the time the equipment gets around here, the blades need sharpened or maybe replaced.

Most students, especially the university and college students, have adjusted their schedule, dorm room or apartment and the daily routine and are now ready for focusing on their studies. Some students get a chance to check by home for a weekend visit.

The weekend news mostly focused on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It’s a day we never shall forget. Our son had arrived in Brooklyn two weeks before that time and had just visited the towers the Sunday before. He was still excited to see and begin adjusting for his studies at The New School University where he was pursuing his master’s degree.
Taylor was in the Greenwood Leflore Hospital the day before his 65th birthday for an outpatient procedure on the morning of 9/11.
The TV station interrupted with the news. However, we thought it was “This Day in History.” People in the lobby and at the hospital stations were all ears. The receptionist explained to us, and, of course, we had not heard from Reginald. We didn’t know how close he was to the tragedy.
We called the Dogans, who live in New York, and they got in touch and assured us he would be safe.
This is not nearly the end of our story. It doesn’t seem like our son has been in New York for 20 years. But that’s how we remember the time! Now you know how old Taylor was on Sunday, 9/12.
Enjoy life today. Be blessed.
