And, finally, the boys are back in town!
Our headliner for Gateway 2026 is … The Band US. We were all pumped and ready to hear them play for our Gateway Festival 2025, but the weather did not cooperate. They will take the stage at 9 p.m., and guarantee that it will be a party like no other.
For those who do not already know, US is a rock band whose main mission seems to be keeping rock music alive and well in the southeast. They deliver every show like it’s the first one they’ve ever done or the last one they will ever do.
Kelly Nagy (vocalist), Jeff Mannis (guitar), Richie Wright (drums) and Corey Lessard (bass) always bring a level of energy to the Gateway stage that is hard to duplicate. A good bit of their show is rock from the ’80s, but don’t let that fool you. Just when you think you’ve got them pegged, they will kick off a country favorite and then move back into their medley from Grease.
They continue to always be our most requested headliner for the festival because these fellows know how to show our crowd a good time!
Don’t forget all of the other things on the schedule the day of the festival.
It is a great day of music, numerous craft vendors, wonderful food trucks, class reunions, an exciting kid’s zone, pig kissing, beautiful cars, community awards … and so much more!
