Last week was another exciting and successful week for Charleston Athletics, as our student-athletes continued to compete hard and represent Charleston well.
Our Lady Tiger volleyball team had an outstanding week, picking up two important division victories. On Tuesday, the Lady Tigers traveled to M.S. Palmer and came away with a victory in a division match. The ladies followed that performance on Thursday by returning home and defeating Northside in another division matchup. Going 2–0 in division play for the week was a great accomplishment for our volleyball program, and we are proud of the continued improvement and effort being shown by our Lady Tigers.
We capped off the week Friday night with our high school football team traveling to North Panola. The Tigers battled throughout the night and came away with a hard-fought 24–14 victory. It was another strong performance by our young men and a great way to finish an undefeated week for Charleston Athletics.
Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and coaches on a great week of competition.
