HOLCOMB — Chessie Louise Kendall Smith, age 89, of Holcomb, a retiree of Pennaco Hosiery, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada with interment following in Holcomb Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.O. “Tobe” Smith; and a son, Ricky Smith.
She is survived by a daughter, Claudine Smith Stevens of Greenwood; a son, Gary Michael Smith of Holcomb; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
