On Saturday, Aug. 5, the Tallahatchie Early Learning Alliance (TELA) organized an impressive Back-to-School Expo that drew a crowd of over 300 attendees. The event, aimed at preparing local students for the upcoming academic year, proved to be a resounding success.
The Meek Foundation, well-known for its commitment to education and community empowerment, volunteered at the event, distributing school supplies to eager students. The expo, held in Tallahatchie County, saw Meek Scholars Lakeria McCord, Cody James and TJ Truly volunteer at the event, along with Meg Sinervo.
