On Tuesday, April 11, the Meek Foundation and East Tallahatchie School District partnered together to celebrate high school students who scored “proficient” and above on their most recent state tests. Students in grades 9-12 with above average scores had the opportunity to spend the afternoon at Enid Lake celebrating their hard work.
“We enjoyed the afternoon with pizza, kickball and time together outside. We are all really proud of these students and their hard work and wanted to show them some appreciation,” said CHS Career Coach Shaquita Prince.
This was a great opportunity to applaud these students on their accomplishments while also spending a little time outdoors and enjoying some friendly kickball competition. The Meek Foundation provided pizza, soft drinks and popsicles to the field day.
