We are in the middle of college selection season, the busiest time of year for most rising graduates.
Seniors from Charleston High School had the opportunity to visit and tour Mississippi College in Clinton on Wednesday, April 19.
Mississippi College, founded in 1826, offers over 80 academic program and offers a 13:1 student to faculty ratio.
This year, the Meek Foundation and CHS Career Coach Shaquita Prince have arranged 13 college and industry-specific visits for high school students in the East Tallahatchie School District.
“These trips provide students an opportunity to see more than just what is available to them in Charleston. There are career and college opportunities in Mississippi many haven’t even considered before and they are getting an opportunity to do so now. I am so appreciative that the Meek Foundation has helped fund these trips and scholarships for students at CHS,” said Shaquita.
