Some amazing things happen when you are just having fun! And, we are very excited about all of the things happening at CARE in the next few months. Now, we won’t ruin the surprises today, but want to ensure that the community knows about an upcoming paint class that we are sure will be fun and informative.
CARE is very proud to welcome Deanna Washington Gregory of Iuka, Mississippi, to our gallery for a paint class.
Deanna grew up watching Bob Ross on TV, and her dad once told her that she needed to get some paint and a canvas and follow along. But she replied, “There’s no way that I could paint like Bob Ross.”
However, 10 years ago, Deanna saw a chance to take a Bob Ross class at the local store and gave it a try. She was hooked. Now, she is a Bob Ross Certified Instructor in Landscape and Wildlife and has been teaching as a certified instructor for seven years.
She loves teaching these classes and meeting new people. Deanna shares, “If I can, you can too.” Deanna is also painting partners with Marion Dutton of the UK and was with the late Wilson Bickford.
She currently teaches in many local areas of Mississippi and Tennessee.
Deanna will teach her class at CARE on Friday, April 21, at 5:30 p.m.. Seating for this class is limited to 12 members of the community. Attendees will need to pre-register by reaching out to CARE.
The fee for this session is $25, which will cover all supplies and instruction from Deanna.
We look forward to seeing you in this class!
