JACKSON — The Mississippi Department of Corrections and other law enforcement agencies are searching for a state inmate who has escaped from the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman.
Inmate Gregory Trigg, inmate number R4245, is serving a total of 61 years for nine sentences, including armed robbery, two counts of kidnapping, residential burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, and convicted felon in possession of a firearm, all committed in Madison County. He is also serving time for vehicle burglary and vehicle theft committed in Rankin County and nonresidential burglary committed in Scott County.
Trigg is a black male with a bald head and brown eyes. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He is 45 years old.
The MDOC encourages anyone spotting Trigg to call their local law enforcement agency.
