The Charleston Arts and Revitalization Effort (CARE) is conducting children’s summer camps during the month of July.
Classes, held in the Charleston Arts Center (CARE building) in Charleston, feature instruction in art, karate and dance, and are open to area children.
The first of the events, art camp, was held last week for children ages 5 to 12. A total of 38 children attended the camp July 5-7.
Said CARE Executive Director Dana Clo-linger, “Thank you to parents, grandparents, volunteers and instructor Maribeth Weeks for making this camp a huge success.”
