As part of an effort to develop a multi-jurisdictional “Hazard Mitigation Plan,” emergency management officials in Coahoma, DeSoto, Grenada, Panola, Quitman, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tunica and Yalobusha counties are inviting residents to participate in a free online survey.
The Tallahatchie County Emergency Management Agency asked The Sun-Sentinel to help spread word about the survey, which is designed to assist local officials with identifying and assessing natural hazard risks and to plan how to best minimize and manage those risks.
The survey, which should take no more than 10 minutes to complete, can be accessed at http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/2738738/Public-Participation-Survey-for-Ha... .
