Charleston High School All-Star linebacker Jonathan Jones signs a National Letter of Intent to play football for the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers.

He had narrowed his choices to Northwest and East Mississippi Community College, revealing his decision just before this photo was taken Dec. 27. The next day, his first-team selection to USA Today’s 2016 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Mississippi Football Team was announced.
Jones completed required coursework at CHS early, allowing him to begin classes at Northwest this month. He will be able to fully participate in offseason training, including spring practices, at NWCC.
