NOTICE
The Town of Sumner intends to file an application with the Rural Utilities Service, an agency of the United States Department of Agriculture. The purpose of this application is to secure funding for a proposed wastewater treatment system improvements project.
The proposed project will involve (1) rehabilitation of pump stations, (2) repairs to the sewage lagoon, and (3) treatment system upgrades.
A public meeting will be held to give citizens an opportunity to become acquainted with the proposed project and to comment on such items as economic and environmental impacts, service area, and alternatives to the project.
The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 1:30 P.M., at the Sumner Town Hall at 145 North Walnut Street in Sumner.
