A Tallahatchie County 4-H Shooting Sports interest meeting will be Thursday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m., at the Extension office at 202 S. Market St. in Charleston.
Ages 8-18 are welcome to participate, and parents/volunteers are encouraged. Details of the 4-H Shooting Sports Program will be discussed, as well as information about the coming season.
4-H Shooting Sports helps youth learn and practice firearm safety in an encouraging environment. Disciplines include archery, .22 rifle, .22 pistol, shotgun, air rifle, air pistol and muzzleloader.
