TILLATOBA — Alvia Joy Calder Robinson Walton, 73, of Tillatoba, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Services in Grenada with Rev. Shelly Scallions officiating. Interment will follow immediately after the service at the Union Cemetery in Tillatoba.
She was born May 17, 1951 in Charleston to J.T. and Bertha Steadman Calder.
She was employed by Dollar General, where she worked as a supervisor.
She is survived by her husband, Ezra Walton; son, Danny Dean Robinson (Sara) of Vicksburg; sisters, Violet Coaten (David) of Oakland and Paulette Paumen (Craig) of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Michael Robinson; brothers, Wade Calder and Howard Calder.
