CHARLESTON — Ben Townes Jr., age 68, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Abundant Harvest Church in Charleston.

He is survived by a son, Chamise Wayne of Michigan; a daughter, Kathy Patterson of Memphis; four brothers and five sisters; and five grandchildren.

Community Funeral Directors had charge of arrangements.
