HOLCOMB — Carl E. “Buck” Little, age 86, passed away Saturday, July 22, at his home.
Visitation with the family will be from 5–8 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. A private interment service will be held Wednesday, July 26, at Bethel Cemetery in the Oxberry Community of Grenada County. The Rev. Kevin Tribble, the Rev. Rick Shepherd and the Rev. Gary Tatum will officiate.
He was born August 11, 1936 in Hot Springs, Ark. to J.E. and Sylvia “YaYa” Tatum Little. “Buck” honorably served our country in the United States Air Force and enjoyed a long career in the trucking business. He was a member of Holcomb Baptist Church. “Buck” had an incredible love for the game of football and enjoyed sharing his love of the game with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Robert Little.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Baxter Little; three daughters, Tammy Standard (Kelly) of Teasdale, Karla Allen (Lensy) of Holcomb and Kat Little of Holcomb; son, Jason Little (Cheryl) of Jarreau, La.; step-son, John Terry (Dawn) of Holcomb; nine grandchildren, Torie Terry Costilow (Trevor), Allie Standard, Jesse Standard (Brandon Sims), Josh Allen (Gracie), Emily Allen, Katie Waguespack (Quintin), Mattie Little, Blake Ward and Lindsey Harville (Jonathan); and seven great-grandchildren, Kayden Costilow, Parker Costilow, Emmett Waguespack, Alice Clair Waguespack, Quince Little, Wes Harville and Stella Harville.
Pallbearers will be Bob Baxter, Dick Baxter, Henry Baxter, Sidney Baxter, Tuffy Baxter and Randy Welch.
