Frankye Mathews
SOUTHAVEN — Frankye Mathews, age 79, passed away Thursday, March 14, at the Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven.
Funeral services were 3 p.m. Saturday March 16, at Sardis Church of Christ. Interment followed at Forrest Memorial Park in Batesville. Womble Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
She was a member of Charleston Church of Christ. A retired employee of Goldsmith’s/Macy’s; She was preceded in death by her husband, William Marion “Jake” Mathews, Sr.
She is survived by a daughter, Valerie Hartsfield of Tunica; two sons, William “Jake” Mathews, Jr. and Adam Mathews, both of Oxford; a sister, four half-sisters, a half-brother, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
