TUTWILER — Fredna Vaughn Pearson, age 87, retired vice-president of The Bank of Webb, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, at her home.
Visitation is being held Monday, Nov. 13, at her home and Tuesday, Nov. 14, 10–11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Tutwiler. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at First Baptist Church in Tutwiler with interment following in Lambert Cemetery at Lambert. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale has charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Pearson graduated from Delta State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in business. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Tutwiler, Sumner Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow recipient. She was a board member of Tutwiler Community Education Center. She is survived by her son, Dusty Pearson (Gina) of Batesville; her daughters, Janet Johns of Tutwiler and Dawn Carraway (Scott) of Clarksdale; brothers, Henry T. Vaughn (Nancy) of Andalusia, Ala. and Rocky Vaughn (Pam) of Boyle; sister, Lynda Harrell (Ernie) of Seminary; grandchildren, Tracy Johns, Terry Clark (Jamie), Holly Dancy (Adyn), Jesse Pearson (Jennie), Joseph Pearson and Connor Carraway (Lacy); great-grandchildren, Karen Clark, MaKayla Clark and Anna Payton Dancy; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Keith Pearson; parents, Henry Vaughn and Clemmie L. Sullivan; and daughter, Karen Pearson.
