TILLATOBA — Homer Grant Melton, age 90, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Ruleville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at Union Cemetery in Tillatoba. Womble Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
He was a member of Tillatoba Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Hellon Ruth Melton.
He is survived by a daughter, Freda Elaine Weir of Grenada; two sons, Richard Granton Melton of Hardy and David Lee Melton of August, Georgia; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to Union Cemetery.
