TEASDALE — Jimmie Ann McFerrin, age 81, of the Teasdale community, passed away Friday, June 21, at her home.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2.
She was born April 16, 1943 to Ordley Shim Epps and Irene Hollingsworth Epps, She grew up in Teasdale and graduate from East Tallahatchie High School in 1961.
She loved reading her Bible daily, loved the Lord and loved listening to gospel music and also loved to cook. To know her was to love her and to also know her warm smile and giving heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Lynn McFerrin; and a brother, Gary Lynn Epps.
She is survived by two sons, Barry Lee McFerrin (Gene) and Larry Leaf McFerrin (Louise); three grandchildren, Michael Lee McFerrin, Taz Lee McFerrin and Allyn Flautt; and two great-grandchildren, Anna Lee McFerrin and Cooper McFerrin.
The family requests any memorials be made to Bethel Church.
