OAKLAND — Mrs. Margie Mason, age 82, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, at her home in Oakland.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Newsom Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Margie was a retired nurse with Tallahatchie General Hospital.
Those whom she leaves behind include one son, Jackie Mason of Oakland; four sisters, Shirley Ledford, Edna Lee, Barbara Pickle, all of Grenada, and Mary Joy Durham of Katy, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Edgar Franklin Durham and Dovie Yarbough Duram; two sisters, Sue Williams, Willa Dean White; and three brothers, Jim, Sam and Bill Durham.
