CHARLESTON — Neva Dean Rippee Reece, age 87, passed away Friday, May 12, at Methodist South Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, May 15, at the First Baptist Church in Charleston. The service will begin at 2 p.m. with Bro. Joe May and Rev. John Price conducting. Interment will follow at Magnolia Gardens in Paynes. Womble Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Born on March 4, 1936, to the late Lina Mae Rippee and Theo Franklin Rippee. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Charleston.
Neva Dean is survived by two sons, Ernie Ray Reece, Jr. (Toni) of Aberdeen. and Ricky Lloyd Reece (Maggie) of Saucier; five grandchildren, Kelsey Dismukes, Jill Harris, Nicky Meulott, Cori Reece, Melanie Montgomery; three great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Earnest Ray Reece.
Pallbearers are Blane Breland, Bud Smith, Roy Shook, Brett Noe, Braden Troglen and Derek Beardain.
Honorary pallbearer is Michael Worsham.
