CHARLESTON — Ralph E. Alderman Sr., age 83, passed away Saturday, March 2.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Newsom Funeral Home chapel in Charleston with interment following in Magnolia Garden Cemetery in the Paynes community.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, formerly of Jackson, Mississippi, he made his home in Cherokee Village, Ark.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Edward Alderman Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Aldermen; a daughter, Sandra C. Rowell of Brandon; a step-daughter, Donna D. Hartley of Prattville, Ala.; a sister and three grandchildren.
