CHARLESTON — Riley Joe Mitchell, age 88, passed away Thursday, July 13, at his home.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 16, at Womble Funeral Home chapel with interment following at New Hope Cemetery.
A veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Mitchell.
He is survived by two daughters, Tina Welch of Sarah and Joyce Mithcell Crotts of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; three sons, James A. Mitchell, John Mitchell and David Mitchell, all of Cascilla; a sister, brother, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
