Brad Adams is the new center director of the ICS Eva Covington Head Start Center near Charleston, according to a Monday post by Adams on the center’s Facebook page.
“I have been employed with the Institute of Community Services Inc. Project Head Start for seven years,” he noted. “I have worked in the capacities of teacher assistant, administrative assistant and, currently, center director. I have a passion for children, love working with them, and enjoy watching them progress in their educational skills.”
Adams said he is a resident of Grenada and serves as a youth minister, and in other capacities, of Greater Restoration Revival Temple in Greenwood.
“I enjoy working with people, and I am looking forward to and expecting an amazing, productive school year,” he stated.
Adams said he is open to suggestions that might enhance the center “and contribute to positively impacting the students’ educational needs. I encourage all parents to be involved in your child’s learning experience and to participate in all that the agency and center have to offer you.”
He closed, “Help me to accelerate ICS Eva Covington Head Start Center to the next level.”
