The National Charleston Day Organization Scholarship Committee announces Jasmine Tellis as recipient of the Glennie Houston Scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year.
Tellis is currently enrolled at Mississippi State University, where she majors in Biological Sciences. Her future goal is to become a doctor, with a specialty in chronic pain anesthesiology.
The Glennie Houston Scholarship is administered through the protocols of the National Charleston Day Organization, which include a completed application, transcript and GPA calculations.
The family of Mrs. Houston made the decision to award Tellis the scholarship for a second year. Her proof of enrollment, class schedule and other necessary documents have been submitted.
