CLEVELAND — Corley Mullins (classes of 2006 and 2010) has recently been named director of Alumni Affairs for Delta State University’s Alumni Association.
“I’m very excited about joining the Alumni Association and serving my university in a new capacity,” said Mullins. “I look forward to working with Amanda [Robinson, assistant director] to further the mission of the Alumni Association and connect with alumni.”
Mullins is a native of Tutwiler but has lived in Cleveland for over a decade with her husband, Matthew, and their three small children.
She is a two-time graduate of Delta State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management. She is very active in church and enjoys participating in community events in her free time.
Mullins comes to the Alumni Association with a wealth of knowledge and experience from the nonprofit world, having worked for the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art, Bologna Performing Arts Center, and the United Way of Cleveland-Bolivar County. She most recently served as campaign coordinator for the Delta State University Foundation and has volunteered numerous times for Alumni Association events over the years.
“I am very pleased with Mrs. Mullins accepting the alumni director position,” said Rick Munroe, vice president for University Advancement and External Relations. “She has been an active alumnae for DSU and brings the skills necessary to continue with the successful programming required.”
