The Birdia Keglar Legacy has announced its 2022 scholarship recipient, Miss Aaliyah Bridges. She is awarded $1,000 to aid in covering her expenses during her post-high school endeavors.
Aaliyah is a 2002 graduate of Charleston High School, where she excelled academically and achieved high rank in extracurricular activities.
She met all requirements of the scholarship application process and was chosen by further criteria of the judging protocol.
Aaliyah applied to and has been accepted to Northwest Mississippi Community College, where she will pursue a two-year degree. She plans to complete her education and return to her hometown of Charleston, where she will own and operate her own business.
The executive board and scholarship committee of Birdia Keglar Legacy extend best wishes to Aaliyah and encourage her to keep in contact.
