Poll worker training sessions scheduled

The Tallahatchie County Election Commission will conduct the primary election for the Republican Party on Tuesday, Aug. 8.

State-mandated training will be held for anyone who will be working the election.

There will be two local sessions, both of which are identical.

The first training session will be held on Monday, July 24, starting at 6 p.m., at the Tallahatchie County Courthouse in Charleston.

The second session will be conducted on Wednesday, July 26, starting at 6 p.m., at the Tallahatchie County Courthouse in Sumner.
