CHAFFEE, Mo. — Paul Friga, age 67, departed this life suddenly Thursday, April 8.
Chaffee Elks officiated funeral services Monday, April 12,at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
He was born Sept. 1, 1953 in Cape Girardeau to Alfred Friga and Rita Mae Bollinger Friga.
Paul was a former employee of HWI in Cape Girardeau and a resident of Chaffee. He was a member of the Chaffee Elks No. 1810 and Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Missouri Umpires Association and War Child Riding Group. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Pattie Jackson; his father Alfred Friga; a son, Brian (Emily) Friga of Jackson; a daughter, Lisa (Jason) Townsend of Oak Grove, Mo.; two brothers, David Friga of Chaffee and Robert (Rita) Friga of Enid; a sister, Laura (David) Westrich of New Hamburg, Mo.; grandchildren, Brook (Isaac) Venable, Brandon (Mackenzie) Parker, Brent (Tiffany) Parker, Angela Rehm, Payton Friga, Gracie (Kyle) Patterson, Jacob Campos and Gabriella Campos; and great-grandchildren, Bode Johnson, Collins, Venable Beckham Parker, Lane Patterson, Leah Patterson and Kade Patterson.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Mark Friga.
