HERNANDO — Marilyn Virginia Melton Griggs, age 82, passed away Thursday, May 15, at her home in Hernando.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, May 19, at Memorial Funeral Home in Tunica with interment following at Oakwood Cemetery.
She was a member of Enid Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Griggs.
She is survived by her children, Greg Townsend, Cissy Garrett, Ray Griggs, Mary Jo Red and Bill Griggs, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
