MDOT: Ice on area roads and bridges

The Mississippi Department of Transportation has confirmed the presence of icy conditions on some area roads, bridges and overpasses.

As of 3:36a.m. Wednesday, MDOT had reported hazardous driving conditions in Alcorn, Benton, Coahoma, DeSoto, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Prentiss, Quitman, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica and Yalobusha counties, with updates continuing.

If you must drive, use extreme caution.
