JACKSON — Nell Gray Kirby, age 84, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 14,in Jackson.
A private family service was held for her on Saturday, Jan. 16, in Jackson.
Nell was born November 7, 1936 to Anniebelle P. Gray and Stanley Gray of Coffeeville. She was an elementary school teacher for many years.
Nell was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Guila Covington.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Norris (Dwight); grandchildren, Reed and Brent (Holly) Norris; one great-grandchild, Mason Norris; brother, Robert P. Gray, of Meridian and sister, Carole Northrip, of Brandon; 5 nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Fannin United Methodist Church, Fannin, Miss. or to any animal shelter service.
Sebrell Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
