COFFEEVILLE — Nolan Wray Martin of Coffeeville passed away at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, Feb. 24.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at Newsom Funeral Home chapel in Charleston with interment following at Elam Baptist Church Cemetery near Coffeeville.
He was a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant and a retired game warden for the Department of Wildlife.
Nolan is survived by his wife, Barbara Simmons Martin of Coffeeville; son, Jerry Martin (Kelli) of Grenada; daughter, Barbara Harell (Eddie) of Houston; grandchildren, Alex Martin, Chad Sims. Abby Martin, Randy Calder, Harlie Calder, Lauren Morris, Megan, Grimes and Landry Harell and great-grandchildren, Layla Morris, Madelyn Morris, Olivia Morris, Tripp Grimes and Eli Grimes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Myrtle Martin; and sister, Joann Martin.
