CASCILLA — Shirley Ann Harris, age 86, passed away Saturday, Feb. 13, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Cascilla Baptist Church with interment following in Ashland Cemetery near Cascilla. The family will received friends from noon until 1 p.m. before the service. Newsom Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
She was born in Cascilla on Sept. 4, 1934.
Shirley went to Northwest Mississippi Junior College and lived most of her life in Memphis.
She is survived by five nieces and nephews, Joe Hopper, John Hopper, Jill Alexander Graham, Clay Alexander and Mary Jo Deutch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Frank Harris and Ammie Whitten Harris; two sisters, Josephine Harris Alexander and Doris Harris Miller; and two brothers, John Frank and Walter Edward Harris.
