Editor, Sun-Sentinel:
On a recent Thursday, I was determined to work in my yard all day. Well, I did, but not in the way I planned.
I burned a little pile of brush. The dry grass around it started to burn. I got a cedar limb to bat it out, but it was spreading in a circle very fast.
