Voters in Charleston, Tutwiler and Webb will be called to the polls Tuesday for a Democratic primary election.
Glendora and Sumner will not conduct elections because all of their candidates are uncontested.
The May 2 primary features the offices of mayor and alderman or commissioner.

In Charleston, incumbent Sedrick Smith, 45, faces a challenge from fellow Democrat Travis Taylor, 61, in the race for mayor.
All five of Charleston’s city commissioner positions are contested, as well.
In Ward 1, incumbent Dorothy Brown, 70, will face Gyrone Kenniel, 63.
Ward 2 incumbent Meg Miller, 66, is challenged by Lloyd C. Smith, 62.
In Ward 3, incumbent Roosevelt Taylor, 73, has two opponents in Hikeen Frost, 22, and Tawanda Smith Shannon, 42.
Ward 4 incumbent Bobby J. “Joey” Brunson Jr., 47, will square off with Sandy Frieson Smith, 37.
In Ward 5, present officeholder Perry Lee Herron, 57, is opposed by James L. Johnson, 64.

Tutwiler Mayor Nichole Harris, 38, will see a challenge from John T. Jones, 44.

In Ward 1, incumbent Donell Wiggins, 57, is confronted by Linda Gaither-Johnson, 58.
Ward 3 incumbent James Farmer, 52, has three people nipping at his heels, including Sherry Thomas Ellington, 58; Linda Watson Lee, 64; and former alderwoman Luanne Jennings Vance, 62.
In Ward 4, incumbent Diann Pimpton, 53, faces challenges by Patricia Burnside Jones, 66, and Tara Roland, 47.
Ward 2 Alderman Christopher Hooper, 44, and Ward 5 Alderwoman Donnie Cox-Powell, 58, are unopposed for re-election on Tuesday.

In Webb, Tracy T. Mims, 52, is challenged by present Ward 5 Alderwoman Denise Calhoun, 36, in his quest to win a second term as mayor.
Only two seats on the Webb Board of Aldermen are contested next week.
In Ward 1, incumbent Marilyn Gibbs, 37, faces off against Hillary Benson, 38, and Peggy Boykins, 46.
In Ward 2, incumbent alderwoman Maggie Outlaw, 62, is challenged by Reginald Thomas, 42.
Ward 3 Alderwoman Chiquita Jones, 44, and Ward 4 Alderwoman Betty Powell, 52, are unopposed for re-election, while Willie J. Garner, 47, does not have an opponent in his bid to supplant Calhoun in Ward 5.
The polls Tuesday will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
This Saturday, municipal clerks’ offices in Charleston, Tutwiler and Webb will be open from 8 a.m. until noon for last-minute, in-person absentee voting.
