The National Charleston Day Organization posts its scholarship recipients for 2021 and 2022.
COVID-19 rendered lapses in many of the organization’s processes and procedures, thus causing reporting and sharing to be in default.
Presented scholarships were:
» Denishia Hayes, who received the Glennie Houston Scholarship for 2021
» Timothy McCord, recipient of the David and Mildred Alford Memorial Scholarship in 2021
» JarKevious Edwards, who received the Glennie Houston Scholarship for 2022
» TreDerica Winters, who recipient of the 2022 David and Mildred Alford Memorial Scholarship.
These students are graduates of Charleston High School and met all requirements of the scholarship application process.
These young people are the hallmark of our organization and we, the executive board, the scholarship committee and all chapters’ members, consider it a privilege to encourage this next generation on the path that they travel.
