NATIONAL SUMMARY
With ample moisture remaining in place, rain and
thunderstorms are expected once again tomorrow in Florida
and southern Georgia. Rain can be heavy at times, and with
any storms likely to be slow moving, localized flooding will
be possible. Drier and cooler weather will be in place
farther to the north. Across much of West Texas, isolated
storms are expected during the evening and late-night hours.
A severe storm or two will be possible here, with hail being
the primary threat. A few showers and storms will also be
likely across the Rockies and portions of the northern
Plains, though severe weather is unlikely in these regions.
Dry and seasonable weather will be in place along the
immediate West Coast, with above-average temperatures
expected farther inland.
